What does the name "Derwen" mean?

Derwen is the Welsh word for Oak (Tree).

There's an old proverb that says "Mighty oaks from little acorns grow."

It simply means that great things often come from small beginnings.

The name "Derwen Therapies was decided on in 1997 when the practice was established in Houston, TX.

As part of her mission to share her love of Reflexology, Patricia has always wanted her students to grow into "giant oaks" in the field of natural healthcare.

Many have done so and oftentimes they have come from small, humble beginnings, just like little acorns.
